On Tuesday 16th January 2018, 3rd and 6th year students participated in Exam Self-Care Workshops. Students were introduced to mindfulness practice as a tool for coping with the increased levels of stress, anxiety and pressure that may experienced during the mock exam period. They were invited to take part in practical exercises to equip them with the skills that are needed to practice self-care in the weeks ahead. Students were led on a Calming Anxiety Guided Meditation to help them release any tension that they may be feeling ahead of the their exams.

6S Visit NCBI Ceramics Workshop

As part of their Craft and Design task, 6S and Ms Keenan visited the NCBI to see Terry Cartin in the Ceramics workshop. The students were undertaking research for their Ceramic tile wall panel group task. "Older" (!) visitors to our school may remember the wonderful ceramic and screen print wall panels displayed in the reception area. We look forward to seeing the completed work following assessment of the task next February.

Graduation 2014

Our 6th years graduated in style on Wednesday 21st May. A beautiful Mass attended by students, parents and teachers was celebrated in ChildVision Church at 7pm.  The school choir provided the music and the soloists were mainly from our cohort of graduates who also did the readings and the Prayers of the Faithful. As their theme for the evening our 6th years chose ‘New Beginnings’ and many of the words spoken on the evening echoed this idea. After the mass we all retired to ChildVision Hall where the Parents’ Committee had prepared a great spread of tasty treats.

Graduation Night 23rd May

The evening started with a ceremony in St. Joseph's Church where the theme was "Wherever the wind takes us, we will bring the memories of the times we shared together." The celebration continued in the school hall with a great night full of memories. Entertainment was provided by some of the competitors in the "Rosmini's Got Talent" competition.
