Irish Sign Language Club visits the Deaf Village

On Wednesday 24th May 2017, the Irish Sign Language Club visited the Deaf Village; a state of the art complex that caters for the religious, artistic, social, sporting, historical and educational needs of members of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community.

Students received a tour of the complex that houses Deaf organisations such as the Irish Deaf Society. They also visited the Emmaus Chapel, The Hub and a museum that contains artefacts that are of historical importance to the Deaf community.
