Business in the Community/ESB Partnership - Student Feedback

What the students themselves had to say about the experience:

“…we had a meet and greet with some of the employees. They talked about their work, their lives and how they got their jobs…” Amina

“…I enjoyed the trip to the E.S.B….The most interesting part would have to be the circuitry as it allowed me to work independently…” Ian

Fifth Years attended ESB Head Office in East Wall on Thursday 2nd February for a “Day in the Life” seminar. They interviewed five ESB employees from different departments and were given an opportunity to make an LED Torch after some very tasty refreshments. The day was organised by Anne Cooney (E.S.B.) and Cliona Fitzsimons (Business in the Community). All students benefited from the experience and were very grateful to all who gave up their time on the day.
