Rosmini reached the final of the under 16 plate final having defeated southsiders Clonkeen college in the semi-final. Our opponents in the final were Grange community college. The venue was the Oblate Hall Inchicore. The final score was Rosmini 21 Grange 15

A special word of thanks to our superb supporters and all the staff who looked after them. The team wish to say thanks also to the first years, Ty girls, Mr Turbitt and MS Keenan   who made the bandanas. To Jane and Aoife and  all in 1  A who made the  pom poms.  Thanks to Ms Cherry for the new kit.

Although the day began ominously with the patter of a few raindrops, the classes of 2R and 2G managed to get some of the best of the May weather last Thursday, 21st May on their hike. With a delayed start to the day, the group was put through a forced march to the Clontarf dart station to catch the 9.10am hourly train to Greystones. With minutes to spare the train was boarded and the journey to Wicklow began.

Rosmini Girls Under-15 Debut Soccer Match

Rosmini Girls Soccer Team

Rosmini’s girls under 15 soccer team played their first match of the season on Thursday 5th February. They played a very experienced and unbeaten Manor House team. Manor House played well in the first half. Rosmini took their time getting to know each other and their positions before we felt comfortable. Manor House won the first half despite great performances by goalkeeper Bella, defender Kate and Captain Georgia for Rosmini.

Basketball Team Progresses to All Ireland Last Eight

Rosmini progressed to the last 8 of the all ireland schools cup when they defeated Sligo grammar school by 86 points to 80 in Sligo. Rosmini came from 7 points down  in the first quarter to lead 32 29 at half time. A great team effort ensured a sold 11 point lead after the 3rd quarter. Matt Treacy was the leading scorer hitting multiple three points. A good solid defence with some tight marking kept Sligo at bay. Riyad Aboudraa was very effective under our  own basket , with some solid rebounding.
