Enterprise Day 2016

Congratulations to all Rosmini’s Young Entrepreneurs on their very impressive and successful businesses in this year’s school Enterprise Day. A lot of hard work was put in by all students who partook in this year’s event. This hard work starts months before the Enterprise Day in December. Planning began with the idea generation stage and was then followed by creating a full business plan for the students' very own businesses as sole traders, trying to plan for profits and minimise risks.

She created a business trading as E-Cards, which provided seasonal and personal greeting cards in a range of original caricature designs, using recycled materials.

A group of our 4th Years won the Margaret Farrell Perpetual Award, at the LEO Dublin City Enterprise Awards recently for creativity and industrial endeavour.  They created a mini-company called Bow-Bows, selling a range of hair bows made from fabric and duct-tape, into very creative designs. The duct-tape ones are the panel on the at the bottom right of the photo with the girls at their stand. Our students demonstrated their business presentation skills, being finalists at the Dublin City LEO Enterprise Awards recently in Dublin Castle.
