St. Valentine was a Christian priest who lived in Ancient Rome. He was executed by Emperor Claudius on the 14th February 270AD for celebrating weddings of marrying couples who were truly in love.
To celebrate this day:
Students of 1A and 3S explored the history of St. Valentine and his mission to bless couples in the eyes of God. They made colourful Valentine cards to show their appreciation for family members and friends.
6th Year students learned to generate friendly feelings of kindness, empathy and generosity by participating in a Loving Kindness meditation.
We, in Rosmini, strive to teach our students the importance of love and kindness for ‘our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind’.
