TY Students attended an Introduction to Robotics Workshops at the DCU LEGO Education Innovation Studio on Oct 2nd & 3rd. It is a programme given to school where students can learn about programming; utilising areas such as Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. The DCU staff were very impressed with the students enthusiasm and good level of knowledge on both days. Thanks must go to the students for their exemplary work.
Rosmini is delighted to be involved in the DCU UniTY programme. UniTY is a skills based programme specifically aimed at Transition Year students. It has been designed to increase student engagement in education and raise motivation and career aspirations and broaden students' world view. The curriculum is made up of Multimedia & Social Innovation, Smart Skills, Employability & Leadership and Student Empowerment. Other classes benefit through Maths quizzes, "Junior Discover" pathways to third level, DCU "Summer Scholars" programme, rugby and soccer blitzes.
