Congratulations to our Transition Year students who were the Overall Winners of Dublin City University’s Intergenerational Solidarity Awards 2018. They received this award in recognition of the All Ages Aloud choir that was formed with the residents of Nazareth House. Students rehearsed with the residents for a Christmas Carol Service that was held in Nazareth House back in December. Christine O’ Kelly, Age Friendly University Network Coordinator for DCU, commended students, on the power of the their project to bring people of all ages together in a spirit of friendship through music. A lovely ceremony was held in Nazareth House to mark the occasion. A special thanks to Ms Mullen for her work with the choir during this project.
