Mathseyes Award Ceremony

Prizes were presented for the Mathseyes Poster Competition by Minister of Education, Jan O’Sullivan in the Clock Tower building of the Department of Education and Skills on Thursday 23rd of April.   There were 700 entries for the competition which was held as part of Maths Week.  Martin Zaloudek took the overall prize, for the second year in a row, for The Real World Geogebra Competition.   He was runner-up the previous year.  He explored the Maths in a nearby building, using a free software called Geogebra. Eva and Bella Salerno, Kate Cody, Ashling Coombes, Yasemin Guven, Jade Donnery and Orianne Murray were runners-up in the U14 section of the Mathseyes Poster Competition.
