HydrOHeads compete in Bristol

Our Transition team, called HydrOHeads, went to Bristol last weekend to take part in the UK & Ireland Lego First League Final. They represented their school and their country with valiant efforts in robot design, project work and core values.

The competition was immense, we were one of 54 teams, and came in 29th place which was unprecedented for a school in it's first year in the competition. It's onwards and upwards from here. The team had great fun and learned so much. Team members included; Flaviu Mare, Paul Simionescu, Hannah Yan, Robert O'Connor, Lucia Chidovat, Tuomas Bazzan, Louise Barry and Robert Melciu. Special thanks to Ross and Rob (pictured) from Learn It for their help, guidance and amazing support. Also to Professor Deirdre Butler from DCU & DCU Access for the opportunity to take part and more amazing support. To Kim Coyne and Mr Mc Namara for guidance, support and snacks.
