The school took part in Lá Glas Dé hAoine 13ú Márta - students wore green and spoke ‘as Gaeilge.’Special mention to those who do not have Gaeilge but took part. Students  who used Gaeilge on the day were given a raffle ticket . Rosmini School Choir takes part in Emmanuel at the Helix
On Thursday 5th March, the Rosmini school choir took part in the annual Emmanuel concert in the Helix. This event involved 62 schools and 2,100 students. 3 of our choir members were successfully chosen to perform solo. This was a great achievement for the students and the school. Engineering Week was a tremendous success; and Mr Mc Namara would like to congratulate the following students for their excellent efforts. Hannah Yan, Nicole Gaffney & Lauren Jordan won the Engineering Quiz for 1st years. Cheryl Reid, Jaki Akitar and Michael Mc Bride won the Engineering Quiz for 2nd years. Feb 9th - Feb 13th is Engineering Week; this is a week packed full of activities for students to educate them on Engineering within Ireland and as a potential career. The launch of "One Book, One Community" was held in O’Connell’s School Hall on Thursday 29th January. Mr Turbitt, Ms Ginnelly, Mr Darbey and Ms Bourke accompanied the first years to the event. The author, Marita Conlon-McKenna gave a wonderful talk and then made herself available for pictures with the students. A great day was had by all and now let the reading begin!
